How Does the Windsor Deposit Process Work?

The four simple steps to deposit funds into your Windsor trading account are as follows:

Select your preferred payment option and provide the requested details.

After confirming your transaction, the deposited funds will be transferred into your trading account.

1. Debit Cards and Credit Cards

Windsor accepts most major credit and debit cards, including VISA, MasterCard and Maestro. The process to deposit funds using this payment option is easy and quick. By depositing funds into your Windsor trading account using a credit or debit card, the funds will reflect in your account within a few minutes.

2. eWallets

eWallets are increasingly being used by traders and investors to deposit and withdraw funds. We offer our customers numerous eWallet options to deposit with. Depositing via this method is instant, allowing you to start trading the financial instruments within a few minutes.

3. International Bank/ Wire Transfer

Credit/debit cards and eWallets are the faster options for depositing trading capital. However, some investors still prefer to use wire transfer and international bank transfers to fund their trading accounts. We support these methods for your convenience. Please note that this deposit method is slower and it could take up to 7 business days for your capital to be transferred to your trading account.

4. Local Bank Transfer

In our bid to support as many clients as possible, we support the deposit of trading funds via local bank transfer. Some traders prefer this option as it is faster and more convenient than wire transfers or international bank transfers. The local bank transfer option takes only a few days for the transactions to be completed.

Please note that the various local banking options are displayed on the Windsor platform. Simply select the "Deposit" button and check to see if your country or region is listed.

Windsor offers an easy process to withdraw your funds and profits from your trading account. We offer various user-friendly and secure methods to withdraw funds from your account, ensuring that you experience seamless processes with us at all times.

You can also have peace of mind that Windsor takes the necessary precautions at all times to safeguard your personal data and funds. We have implemented the strongest security protocols on our trading platforms, especially in the areas that involve monetary transactions.

How to Withdraw Funds from Your Windsor Account?

We have developed a streamlined withdrawal process on the Windsor platform. Simply follow these three easy steps.

Initiate the withdrawal process by completing the withdrawal request form here

Provide the required details on the form and send it to  support@windsor.fm

We will process and approve your request and your funds will then be transferred to you.

Please note that it could take up to three business days to process your request after you have submitted your withdrawal form. We will send the funds to you via the same deposit method you originally used to deposit your funds. It could take an extra seven days before the funds reflect in your account, depending on the withdrawal option you choose. Windsor does not charge any withdrawal fees. Please be aware that your bank or financial institution could charge a transaction fee so please ensure you contact them for this information.

Security and Verification

At Windsor, providing safety and security to our clients is our priority. As a result, we have implemented extensive security measures to protect you and your funds from any fraudulent activities. We also comply with the international anti-money laundering (AML) regulations. To facilitate this process, our traders are required to complete a verification process.

To complete the verification process and to start trading, you need to provide accurate personal information and the required documents and submit them online.

Windsor requires you to submit the following to complete the identity verification process:

  • Proof of Identification (POI)
  • Proof of Residence (POR)

You will need to upload the documents via our platform interface by clicking on the "Upload Documents Page." The verification process is straightforward and easy to do. Acceptable Documents for Proof of Identification (POI)

At Windsor, we accept a government-issued form of identification. Send a scan or a clear digital photograph of your documentation.

For POI, we accept the following documents:

  • Driver’s license
  • National Identity Card
  • Passport

Note: The image or scan that you send to Windsor should display a clear photograph of yourself and should also clearly show your full name, document expiration date, and date of issuance.

Acceptable Documentation for Proof of Residence (POR)

According to international regulatory requirements, we have to verify your place of residence. You can prove your residency by providing the necessary documents. Make sure that the submitted documents are no more than three months old. Also, the documents' information must match the data you submitted when opening a Windsor account. Your correct full name and full address of residence need to be legibly displayed.

Windsor accepts the following documents for POR verification:

  • Utility Bill (such as water, gas, electricity, or phone accounts)
  • Bank Statement
  • Credit/Debit Card Statement

Verifying Credit Card Information

Traders who intend to use a credit or debit card for depositing or withdrawing funds will have to provide clear images of their cards' front and back, displaying all the required information.

Your image must include the following information:

  • Full Name
  • Expiration Date
  • First 5 and last 4 numbers on the card. Please ensure the middle 7 digits, as well as the CVV number, are hidden. 
  • The signature on the card must match the signature provided on other documents provided to Windsor.


Important We may also ask you to provide a credit card statement to show you are the credit card account's legal owner. This statement should clearly indicate your full name and the last four digits on the card. The name on your credit card statement must align with the other provided documents and Windsor account information.

Proof of Payment - Bank Transfer

Windsor processes withdrawals via the same payment method you used to deposit funds originally. We will require you to provide a screenshot or an image that clearly shows the deposit transaction when you first deposited funds into your Windsor account.
